I finally finished this darn thing. I had to rip out one of the sleeves twice, and actually had to sort of fudge it to fix it. I was, indeed, threatening to tear it all out last night, but now I am glad I didn't. It was a fairly easy and quick knit, after I figured out how to do a ssk and a k2tog tbl. I got the pattern from "Naughty Needles", by Nikohl Lohr, which is full of fun knits. I usually wear a small, but sized this one up so that I would be able to wear it in more civilian locations. Additionaly, I'm not sure I'd actually be able to move if it were the proper size.
So now I have a fancy-dancey sweater to wear on my night out tonight. I am going to see Casino Royale at the Union tonight, and I'm quite looking forward to it. I saw my sister do The Pink Panther last week, and ever since, I've had action movie music in my head, + have had the impulse to buy a Matrix-style trenchcoat. Hopefuly, this will help curb some of that desire.
